Privacy policy
Updated October 30, 2026
Google sign-in is optional. You can download without creating a Clipdock account.
If you sign in, we receive your Google account identifier, verified email address and display name. We store these details with account creation and last sign-in times to identify your Clipdock account. We do not request access to YouTube, Gmail, Drive or your Google password, and do not store Google access or refresh tokens.
A secure, HTTP-only cookie maintains your website session for up to seven days. A separate short-lived cookie protects the sign-in flow. These cookies are necessary for optional sign-in; there are no advertising or analytics cookies in this release.
Account information is stored on our server until you delete your Clipdock account using the account menu. Deletion removes the active account record and prevents other sessions from using it. It does not delete your Google account. Operational backup copies, if created by the server operator, may remain until their retention period ends.
Download jobs and public video details are temporarily cached. Completed media files expire after 30 minutes. Temporary job records may remain longer for processing and error handling. IP-based rate-limit counters expire automatically; application endpoints do not write access logs.
Google processes sign-in according to its own privacy policy. Operator-managed download credentials are separate from visitor sign-in and are never obtained through the Google sign-in flow.
